Why sun and lasers don’t mix

Tanned skin absorbs more laser energy, which raises the risk of burns and pigmentation. Treated skin is also more sensitive to UV for weeks afterwards.

Why autumn works

Lower UV levels make it easier to protect healing skin, and it’s far easier to avoid tanning between sessions.

Start in autumn and you’ll finish your course well before the first sunny weekend of spring.

Planning around the holidays

Most laser courses need three to eight sessions, four to six weeks apart. Starting in September or October means any downtime is tucked away well before the party season.
